Funeral Costs and Family Support
Donation protected
Update: we had dad (Gary’s) funeral on May 23rd. It was a nice day to honor him and lay him to rest. Thank you to everyone to the support and for reaching out helping hands. We are so appreciative and are grateful for the community of people that came together to help us out. We are still in the process of getting his headstone settled and finishing off paperwork and bills. Bless you all.
Update: We are missing dad (Gary) a lot right now. It’s been so hard on our family. Any support in any form is so greatly appreciated. My dad was a good jolly man, he will be greatly missed.
update: dad passed away today May 15th at home. It was very sudden. They tried reviving him in the ambulance but he didn’t make it. We all thought he had more time. Thank you for all the support.
Hi, my name is Anna and I am fundraising for my father, Gary, to help fight cancer.
My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 double hit Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on May 1st 2023. The cancer was found on both sides of his chest and has moved into his neck. The doctor has given him a 40% chance and will be giving us more information on a timeframe once he completes his first chemotherapy session on May 8th. We will keep everyone updated as his cancer is strange and he may need to go to Mayo Clinic for more extensive treatment.
My dad is known by many names. Grandpa, Dad, Pa, Gary, and the antique tractor collector. My dad has been a hardworking guy his whole life. He has always had in mind to support his family and to work hard so he could enjoy the fruits of retirement with his family. Unfortunately, cancer threw a big old pipe wrench into his plans. It’s something you never think will happen, and something you don’t think of planning for.
Asking for support is something nobody wants to have to do, but we constantly remind ourselves that asking for help is not because we are weak, but because we want to remain strong.
Thank you all for continued prayers.
