Gary Van Houten Surgery Fund

On Saturday, November 14th Gary and a friend were hunting in the Owyhee's and encountered some deep snow after shooting an Elk, the friend chambered another round in the event he needed to provide a kill shot to the Elk and as they made their way over, he tripped in the deep snow, fell and accidentally shot Gary in the lower left leg.  911 was called and Gary was life flighted to St. Al's where the decision had to be made on repairing the wound, or amputating the leg.  The decision was made to make the repair and Gary has been flown to Salt Lake where he's undergoing at least a couple operations to repair the wound.  This will be a long process for Gary and will require a lot of physical therapy once the repairs are made.  He does have medical insurance, but it will likely not cover all of the expenses associated and starting in January, his deductible will start over, so that will be money out of his pocket.  Please, please, please give what you can and help this great guy and loyal friend to everyone.
