GARY NEEDS MAJOR EMERGENCY SURGERY!!
Donation protected

James and his best friend Gary need help.
We all have a special friend that is there for us, someone who is by our side on good days and on hard days, Gary is that special friend for James. James bought Gary home in 2020 and he quickly became apart of our family, we love and adore him and we want to give him the care he needs.
James exhausted all his savings and is absolutely devastated to be in this position James also isn't good at asking for help. So I have made the decision to reach out to you all and ask for help on behalf of James.
CURRENTLY:
Garys vet bills have reached up to $5700 with the vet calling today and informing us that it is going to add up to somewhere over $10,000. Gary needs a major surgery and most likely wont be home until friday afternoon.
GARYS STORY:
Last week on Monday the 30th of October Gary became very unwell, he was continuously vomiting and just wasn't being himself. Over the next few days Gary stopped eating, drinking and playing which is not like him at all. Gary is very food driven and will do anything for a snack, he is also always walking around with a toy in his mouth and ready to play.
After Gary not picking up on Tuesday, Wednesday the 1st of November was his first visit to the vet for these issues. The vets gave him an injection to stop the vomiting which cost $300. Saturday night the 4th of November he went down hill, he was vomiting again and extremely lethargic. After a long night Sunday morning it was back to the vet again, they gave him another injection for the vomiting as well as tablets which cost $500. After another long night with Gary still vomiting and not being himself first thing Monday morning James took him back to the vet which lead James having to leave his best friend in the hands of the vets. Gary was places on a drip for 24 hours and was booked in to have blood tests and x-rays, if these showed nothing he would be needing an ultrasound.
Updated from 6pm Monday:
Gary spent the day at Preston vet clinic on the drip and having tests. Which cost $1900
Blood tests all seem to be okay but the x-rays found a lump which needs more investigation.
Due to the public holiday tomorrow and the vet being closed James and Neal had to pick him up and transfer him to Collingwood animal hospital so he can be watched and on the drip until he has more tests. Collingwood animal hospital asked for a $900 deposit. Gary will hopefully have an ultrasound tomorrow.
I will keep you all updated as we know more
Please pray for Gary and don't forget a little donation goes a long way.
