Help Daryl Get to Chemo (Cause $6 Gas is No Joke!)

Our younger sister, Daryl Ann, has breast cancer...no way to sugarcoat that. For those who don't know her, she and her family live in a small ranching town in Northern California just shy of two hours away from the closest hospital equipped to help her kick some serious ass. If there ever were a good time to get cancer (like at the beginning of the year so you hit your deductible and out-of-pocket expenses early), it definitely isn't when gas is $6/gallon. Between chemo every Friday for 16 weeks and the dozens and dozens of other doctor appointments and labs in Redding for the next seven months, the gasoline costs are starting to give the hospital bill a run for its money. 

 

Rikki and I are raising funds to help our baby sis get to all the poking and prodding without also having to give up her firstborn to do so. She's still her fun spunky self; we're just trying to help her get to the end of this so she can get back to her normal life--raising two little rockstars, being a badass wife, visiting papa and grandma at the bottom, and back to our old cancer-free little sis (with or without the mohawk (which to be honest, I’m absolutely loving)).
