Gaston’s emergency medical bills

Hello, my name is Jim Jaros. I am a member of the 441x racing team in Baja and am raising money for our teammate, Gaston Vasquez, who was majorly injured in an accident this last weekend.

Gaston is a family man with 4 great kids, and a lovely wife. He’s a well respected high school teacher and a beloved friend to many. He always has a smile on his face and something good to say to make YOU smile. Gaston broke multiple vertebrae in his neck while racing this past weekend at the Baja 400 and had to be life-flighted to a local hospital. He was then transferred to another where he had successful emergency surgery the following day on his spinal cord. He is currently recovering in the ICU but is not out of the woods. His bills will be piling up and no doubt he will be out of work a while.

I thought there seems to be no better use of Gofundme than a situation such as this for such a good man that will have a long road to recovery.

If you can find it in your heart to donate, every little bit counts and we all know there are times in life where we don’t WANT to ask for help but we need to. Gaston is not the type to ask so figured I would do it for him. Thank you in advance for any consideration given.
