Gaston's vet and surgery costs

Hi, I'm Dave and this Gaston who is 4 years and 2 months old, he is a Dachshund and Frenchie cross. He's very sociable and loves going to the pub (Owain Glyndwr and Fuel are his favourite places).

Wednesday evening, I came home after work and he couldn't use his hind legs. We rushed to the out-of-hours vets and they diagnosed a level 3 slipped disc which had to be seen by Bristol Vets Specialists.

Thursday was his gotcha day and he spent it in surgery and away from his home. Thankfully it went well and now we are working on rehabilitation.

Unfortunately MRI and emergency surgery is expensive and his insurance will not cover everything.

I am hoping people are able to be generous and help.
