Estoy escribiendo a nombre de Juan y sus padres, ellos residen en Lima, Perú.

Tanto Juan como su hermana están pidiendo ayuda económica para cubrir los fuertes gastos médicos por el terrible accidente de sus padres Juan y Andrea.

En la noche del 25 de noviembre, los padres de Juan (Juan y Andrea) tuvieron un serio accidente de carro en Lima, Perú. El accidente se ocasionó debido a que un irresponsable no respetó la luz roja y chocó con el carro en donde iban los padres de Juan.

Cuando la ambulancia llegó a socorrer el accidente y vieron la gravedad del mismo, ubicaron el centro médico más cercano, el cual es una clínica privada y llevaron ahí a los padres de Juan, pero lamentablemente ellos no cuentan con seguro privado de salud, sino seguro estatal de salud. Si bien la clínica en un primer momento le dieron los primeros auxilios y posterior hospitalización debido a que el auto tiene el seguro SOAT (Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Tránsito), pero dicho seguro tiene un tope de casi 25 mil soles por persona ocupante del vehículo (USD 6,600 aproximadamente) y cada cama UCI (Unidad de cuidados intensivos) tiene un costo diario de 14 mil soles por persona, es decir un total de 28 mil soles diarios por ambos (USD 7500 aproximadamente) más otros gastos como medicinas, utensilios, pañales, etc., es decir, el seguro SOAT solo pudo cubrir prácticamente 2 días de hospitalización en UCI.

Debido a la gravedad de su estado de salud, ellos por el momento no pueden ser trasladados a un hospital estatal, es por eso que tanto Juan, como su hermana y un primo de ellos tuvieron que pedir un préstamo bancario cada uno para reunir la suma de 200 mil soles (USD 53,000 aproximadamente) para darle a la clínica como garantía de pago y seguir con la atención por al menos 7 días más.

Aunado a ello, ellos tuvieron que sacar sus ahorros, cerrar sus inversiones y hacer colecta con familiares y amigos para seguir pagando la hospitalización de sus padres.

Como pueden leer, el gasto que están teniendo es muy elevado y casi imposible de sobrellevar, es por eso que están pidiendo una ayuda económica para poder pagar los préstamos y los futuros gastos médicos hasta que los puedan trasladar a un hospital estatal cuando su salud y los doctores se los permita.

I'm writing on behalf of Juan and his parents, who reside in Lima, Peru.

Both Juan and his sister are asking financial assistance to cover the significant medical expenses resulting from the terrible accident involving their parents, Juan and Andrea.

On the night of November 25th, Juan's parents (Juan and Andrea) were involved in a serious car accident in Lima, Peru. The accident occurred because a reckless driver disregarded the red light and collided with the car carrying Juan's parents.

When the ambulance arrived to assist at the scene and assessed the severity of the accident, they rushed Juan's parents to the nearest medical center, which happened to be a private clinic. Unfortunately, they do not have private health insurance but rather state health insurance. Initially, the clinic provided them with first aid and subsequent hospitalization because the car was covered by the SOAT insurance (Mandatory Traffic Accident Insurance), which has a cap of almost 25,000 soles per occupant of the vehicle (approximately USD 6,600). However, each Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed costs 14,000 soles per person per day, totaling 28,000 soles daily for both (approximately USD 7,500), not to mention other expenses like medicines, supplies, diapers, etc. Consequently, the SOAT insurance could only cover about 2 days of ICU hospitalization.

Due to the critical condition of their health, they cannot currently be transferred to a state hospital. This led Juan, his sister, and a cousin to each take out a bank loan to gather the sum of 200,000 soles (approximately USD 53,000) to provide the clinic as a payment guarantee and continue the care for at least 7 more days.

Additionally, they had to use their savings, close their investments, and collect funds from family and friends to keep covering their parents' hospitalization costs.

As you can read, the expenses they are facing are extremely high and nearly impossible to bear. This is why they are requesting financial assistance to cover the loans and the future medical expenses until they can be transferred to a state hospital, as soon as their health and the doctors allow it.
