Help Pete back on his feet

My friend Rita had some disheartening news the beginning of March 2021, her husband Pete, began experiencing an ongoing headache x 1 week with confusion and increased fatigue. Rita took him to the hospital in their home town of Moses Lake, Washington. Little did they know, Pete would be taking a ride via life flight to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington due to a brain bleed. Pete needed a craniotomy, ICU/ neuro stay, and physical therapy. Pete was discharged from sacred heart and was recovering at home. A few days ago, Rita noticed Pete having difficulty with his speech while talking on the phone. Rita took Pete into their local hospital once again and was initially diagnosed with an ischemic stroke. Pete was life flighted again to sacred heart in Spokane, Washington where he recieved the actual diagnoses of a brain infection. Pete went under a craniotomy, again, to remove the infection and is now recovering in the hospital. Pete did well in surgery, but is having some speech deficit. Pete is working with PT and speech therapy during this time. The doctor also has Pete on seizure precautions because he was positive for seizure activity. This journey has been unexpected, long, overwhelming, and emotional on the Morfin family.
Pete is a loving and caring man to his beautiful family, a provider, and a veteran from the marine corps.
You could imagine that this is not only difficult on Pete, but on his amazing family and loved ones. Please keep the Morfin family in your thoughts and prayers.
The medical bills are becoming extremely expensive d/t life flight services, multiple ICU stays, surgical procedures, therapies, recovery, and hotel stays for Rita so she can be close by her husband in Spokane, Wa. Due to Pete's new seizure diagnosis, this means Pete will not be able to drive for at least 6 months.
If you could help the Morfin family any way possible, it would be greatly appreciated! A small amount goes a long way. If you are unable to donate financially, please donate your prayers, positive thoughts and vibes. Thank you all!
Thank you to all the medical staff and healthcare workers who has been there through Pete and Rita's hardship, we appreciate you!
