Gaucho Derby for MD Canada - Let's End MD!

Hola!

In around 1 month's time, I'll be taking part in a pretty epic horse race - 500km through the Patagonian wilderness in Argentina. I spent the entirety of 2023 riding horses, testing gear, and learning to read maps in order to survive what is going to be (hopefully) a very exciting adventure.

The derby will take place from Feb 8th - 18th, where we'll have maximum 10 days to make it to the finish line, bringing our own food, equipment and sleeping in our tents every night. Taking us on the journey will be 7 different horses, each drawn at random out of a hat every 80 km or so.

As part of the race, each participant chooses a choose a charity to raise money for and I've choses the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation here in Canada.

100% of money raised goes straight to the foundation, and I know first hand it does a lot of critical, life changing work for MD patients who can't get what they need from the Canadian government. Things like funding for wheelchairs, specialised medications or doctors visits, home modifications and a lot more.

So any support is so appreciated, and even just to share with friends :)

You can follow all the action during the race on the Gaucho Derby instagram and their website!
