Gaurav Dubey Funeral Fund

It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing the sad news of the untimely demise of Gaurav Dubey on September 26, 2021. His parents Sangita and Prabhash, younger brother Saurav are devastated and need all the prayers and support from friends, family, and the community.

 

Gaurav "Groovey" Dubey as his friends used to call him left us at a tender age of 32, while he was vacationing in Bahamas. His dreams and aspirations abruptly cut short, loved ones left bewildered, searching for answers! It is heart breaking to see his dog Roslyn wander about confused with a sad face, not knowing where her master is.

 

In addition to the emotional trauma and the loss that the family is facing, the challenge of bringing Gaurav's remains across international border, particularly with the Covid-19 restrictions is aggravating for all of us. We have been given to understand by the US embassy staff that it might take 2-3 weeks for his remains to be transported to the US. All the friends who are in and around Naperville are helping with the logistics and we will share the details of services as per the wishes of the Dubey family at the earliest. 

In the meantime, we request that you offer prayers for Gaurav and provide Sangita, Prabhash and Saurav the emotional support that they  need.  We have setup this GoFundMe site to channel any financial contribution you may want to make to the Dubey family for defraying the cost of transporting Gaurav's remains to the US and for funeral services.
