Randy's medical expenses
Hello everyone,
My name is Randy Wilson. Last year I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and very quickly fell ill. I was diagnosed on October 1st of last year and by December of the same year, had had multiple stays in the hospital, one surgery, and had been placed on the transplant list. By January 23rd I had open heart surgery in which an LVAD (left heart ventricular assist device) was implanted. As a result of all of this I've missed nearly a year of work. I've since started back on light/limited duty and have had two more hospital stays, one of which I'm at the end of now . The doctors found bleeding on my brain as a result of blood thinners and had me admitted right away. All this time away from work haa started to take its toll, as I still have monthly follow-up appointments, and a mortgage as well as regular bills. I've a decent job but have run out of sick time so any days I miss, I'm just not paid for. I've also been told during this stay, that I'm very close on the transplant list. This is great news of course, but the transplant surgery is going to put me out of work for at least another 3 months. I've had friends suggest this site for help so I figured I'd give it a shot . Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading,
Randy Wilson
