Gav and Scott ride 500km for Enliven

On Saturday, August 7, Gavin Hammond and Scott Turnbull are going to try to ride their bikes for 500km over 24 hours in support of Enliven Cancer Care , an organization that helps people to navigate living well with a cancer diagnosis.

Too many close to us have faced immense, terrible times because of cancer, especially difficult in these pandemic years. Everyone knows someone who has been affected.

Enliven Cancer Care Muskoka is a remarkable organization meeting the challenges of these stories head on. Helping those living with cancer, their caregivers and survivors too, Enliven makes people’s lives better in the toughest of times.

Riding our bikes for 500km is a nutty idea, but we're going to use this attempt to bring awareness to this wonderful and necessary local initiative. We're going to be sticking close to home on roads in Muskoka, and riding through the night, in whatever weather the date brings.
