GAVEL'S FARM Help Ukraine 2022

Donation protected
You probably know the history of Gavel's Farm and its Ukrainian roots. About seven years ago, Sergey and his wife Tanya came to the USA with their children. At that time, a war was already raging in Ukraine in which Russia had seized the Crimea and Donbas. All these years, Sergey and Tanya have been growing tomatoes and cucumbers for the residents of the Bay Area.

But in February 2022, Putin and his troops brutally attacked the main territory of Ukraine and staged Armageddon. They began to kill civilians, shoot rockets at cities and drop bombs on residential areas and maternity hospitals, not sparing children, women and the elderly. At that very moment, Tanya was in Ukraine. She was visiting her mother, who lives in the city of Energodar. It’s a nearby town that services a Nuclear Power Plant, the largest one in Europe. The Russian invaders seized the city and set up a blockade while firing at the nuclear power plant.

Together with her friends, Tanya organized a volunteer group and helped many citizens with food and organized shelters when the city of Energodar was shelled with rockets. At that time, Psalm 22 from the Bible was like a beacon for her, which she constantly repeated to people who had lost faith and hope for victory.
Three weeks later, an opportunity to leave the city of Energodar arose (the Ukrainian authorities agreed on a humanitarian corridor). Tanya, taking two more families with children, was able to get out of the occupied cities after driving more than 1200 km (740 miles) to the Ukrainian-Poland border.

Now GAVELS FARM, represented by Sergey, Tanya and the family of his nephew Valeriy, organized this event to help many Ukrainians who are still there and need aid. We also offer support to those who left Ukraine and are trying to set up their lives here in the USA.

We appeal to all Americans who are not indifferent to the war and loss of life in Ukraine for help.

Your participation in this fundraising will affect many lives and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, and God bless you!
