Gavin's Final Resting Place and Tribute

Gavin Plyler was 24 when his life was senselessly cut short while spending time with his family by a random act of horrific violence. He had just moved in 6 months ago with his mother and 11 year old brother in their house in Gastonia, N.C.  Gavin was working at the Iverson Way Lowe's in Charlotte where he was well liked and respected and had many friends. He was very proud of himself as his family was that he had recently purchased a car. He had aspirations to be an engineer and had recently decided to return to college as he briefly attended Central Piedmont Community College. Gavin also had dreams of working to get his little brother Aedan and his mother into a  place they could call their own. 

Gavin was a wonderful young man, who had dreams that were cut short by a violent crime to no fault of his own or his family. He loved his mother (Robyn), father (Matt), step-mother (Jenn), little sister (Ashleigh) and little brother (Aedan) very much as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who are all left asking "Why?", "Why him?"  

As no one was expecting to have to make funeral arrangements for their child at 24, I (his Aunt Jessie) am asking for donations to help his family put Gavin at peace in a final resting place. Any funds raised that exceed helping Gavin rest will be put into a Trust for his little brother Aedan. This will also help attain Gavin's dream of making a better future for his brother Aedan and any desires that he may have in the future for College or Trade School.
