Gavin Amella's Golf Journey

Gavin Amella is a junior golfer that lives in Pueblo Colorado. Gavin is asking for any support that you can provide for his junior golf journey.

Gavin is making State and National gains as a junior golfer. He is competing in local/regional/world golf tournaments. Gavin competed in the 2016 U.S. Kids Golf Tour and finished overall 1st Place in Denver’s Summer and Fall golf seasons. He was awarded Player of the Year, back to back, in the 9-year-old age division against the state’s most elite junior golfers. Gavin’s overall status has qualified him to compete in all U.S. Kids Regional and State Golf Tournaments across the country. In August of 2017, he will represent Colorado and the United States in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Gavin’s lowest round of the year was -1 under par at Broken Tee Golf course. In addition, Gavin took 1st place in the PGA’s Drive competition in the 2016 Drive, Chip and Putt regional event in Colorado Springs and sub-regionals in Denver.  He also had his first hole-in-one at the early age of 7 at Willis Case Golf course.


In the off season, Gavin keeps physically conditioned playing flag football, baseball and basketball. He is not only an athlete, but he  is also a straight A student in the classroom. 
As stated above, Gavin will be representing Colorado/United States in August 2017 at the US Kids World Event in Pinehurst North Carolina. In addition, he will be competing in May at the Texas Open Regional Golf Tournament in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
