Gaza Humanitarian Crisis!

Enough is Enough. It is time to act!
Gaza has been suffering severely from being under siege and blockade for more than two decades now. Israel closing main Gaza goods crossing and pressured and banned Palestinian Authorities from allowing any shape of aid or help from going towards Gaza. The Egyptian-Palestinian border has been closed for a long time and the Egyptian government has been exploiting and profiteering from Gazans by placing excessively high fees on travellers. Furthermore, the crisis does not end there as the unemployment rate in Gaza is reaching 50 per cent and nearly 60 per cent of residents in Gaza are under the poverty line.
People in Gaza live daily with 3 hours of unpredictable, inconsistent electricity access from the grid a day which is not even enough for daily tasks such as washing laundries, cooking and watching TV. Not enough to heat water for someone to even take a shower!
Amid aid cuts that have been planned, Gaza NGOs have cut jobs and stopped tens of projects due to lack of funding and as of yesterday, 26th of July, 1000 UNRWA employees in Gaza will not return to their daily jobs today as they have received letters stating there are being terminated due to lack of funding. This is the case since the U.S. led by Trump administration decided to withhold and cut half of the funding that goes to UNRWA. This came as a shock to the families of these employees as they were considered fortunate enough to have gotten a job and been able to provide for their children and families. These families will no longer have this privilege of sustainable income that we call right on the other side of the world. These 1000 will be added to the tens of thousands of Gazans that have been living off international aids with no job opportunities or work. However, with international aids being under threat from Israel and U.S., these Gazans will have no help and an indefinite future!
Gazans do not deserve to live under the oppression of politics. Just like me and you, they deserve freedom, water, electricity and all other basic rights that we take for granted.
This campaign will be working closely with charities in Gaza to deliver the raised money directly to families affected by job termination, unemployability, electricity crisis and other people that have no access to aids or job opportunities and also a portion of the money raised will be used to support SUNBOX Project to bring light to Gaza and other projects that are being worked on to find solutions to these problems. You can read more about SUNBOX here: https://sunbox.ps/english
All announcements and updates around money delivery, projects and charities will be provided to donors as the campaign progresses. Please if you cannot donate, share so others can help too. #SaveGaza
