Hello, my name is Saj, and I am reaching out to raise funds to support Mohammed Hajjar, a dedicated journalist residing in Gaza. Our connection goes back to 2017 when Mohammed began assisting me and our group of friends in distributing charity to the people of Gaza. Over the years, he has undertaken various philanthropic efforts, including food distributions, purchasing toys for children, and aiding in the reconstruction of houses, all to help his fellow Gazans.

Regrettably, Mohammed now finds himself in a situation of significant hardship due to the ongoing war. I am initiating this fundraiser to gather funds that will help Mohammed and his family navigate through these challenging times. Your contribution will go a long way in supporting him as he has tirelessly supported his community in the past. Let's come together to assist Mohammed and his family overcome the difficulties they face during this difficult period.

Mohammed Hajjar, a dedicated journalist from Gaza City, has consistently supported families, children, and the people of Gaza during times of peace. Unfortunately, he now finds himself in need of assistance after losing his home and valuable belongings during the war that began on October 7th. Hajjar is striving to recover and rebuild his family life in Gaza, having been known as a generous individual who cared deeply for others. His impactful journalism work covered a wide range of topics in Gaza City.

Mohammed Hajjar got married in December 2015, shortly after the 2014 war in Gaza. He and his family, including his 7-year-old son Majd and 3-year-old daughter Majdl, aspire to lead a safe and fulfilling life. Like any family around the world, they hope for opportunities for education, employment, and the creation of their own families. Mohammed dreams of making a positive impact in the world through his photography, capturing and sharing the truth about the challenges faced by people in places like Gaza.

Despite his efforts to create a better life for his family, Mohammed has faced significant challenges, losing the security of his own home, family residence, personal belongings, and cherished memories. Starting anew in such circumstances is incredibly difficult, especially without the support needed to rebuild. He currently feels helpless in the face of these challenges.

Throughout the war, Mohammed has witnessed distressing events, with lives lost, including those of children, women, and entire families. The pervasive destruction in his city is beyond imagination, with widespread scarcity of food, clean water, warm clothing, and essential medical supplies. The people of Gaza are struggling to find safety and peace, facing dire consequences.
