Gaza Pets

Conflict in Gaza brings the non-combatant population under daily deadly threat. The military operation ignores humanity. But the people of Gaza have fears, hopes, dreams and pets. Almost counter-intuitively, those funding the bloodshed are less able to turn away unconcerned when cute beloved Gaza pets are being destroyed.

I'll publicize stories & images of Gaza Pets. We'll solicit photos, background, and short videos of existing pets in Gaza. The tales of Gaza Pets will charm & resonate by reminding people of our humanity, and perhaps, even slightly, hasten the end to war. Some 50,000 civilians have been killed, and tens of thousands of children, but Americans continue to fund war. Collective punishment is wrong and illegal. Militarism & extremism destabilizes the wider region. Time to refocus, on Gaza Pets.

Looking at the lives of people's pets in Gaza, we may be able to stir sympathy & compassion where now there's disinterest. We'll collect images of Gaza pets, and link stories & videos showing children & families with their pets. These early funds will support my work on this project. Help Gaza Pets!
