Gaza Red Carpet Festival

Hi All,

The Red Carpet Festival in Gaza is under threat and without support and backing, the organizers will not be able to stage this very important event again this year. The situation in Gaza is worsening by the day and local sponsors are just not there anymore. The festival is a shining light for the people of Gaza who try so hard to strive for normality and who desperately need any outlet to escape the pain and anguish they suffer constantly.

Please click on the appeal document link which contains a letter from Khalil Al Mozain, the Festival Director. It also contains press items from previous festivals and a breakdown of the budget needed to make the festival happen this year. We have paired it down as much as we can in order to make the raising of the money somewhat achievable. There are many many willing volunteers on the ground in Gaza who can fill in the financial gaps and insure that it is once again, a thoroughly memorable and rewarding event.

There are bank account details in the document too, if anyone prefers this means of donating.

Real Films will administer this appeal and account for all monies received. We will also supply an audit of the donations account to all contributors at the end of the project. I ask you to please do whatever you can to help raise these funds. 

If services can be provided, as opposed to cash donations, then that would be wonderful too and if you or your organisation are not in a position to donate, then please pass this onto anyone you feel might be able to.
