Update 01 December 2025
Winter is here, and our tent can no longer withstand it. We are drowning in our suffering falling ill and struggling in a life that offers us neither warmth nor comfort. This winter, the pain grows harsher, and our cries for help rise even before the sound of the wind.
Update 09 October 2025
We can only hope the war has finally ended.
We’ve lost everything truly nothing is left but we will rise again and start from scratch.
I am Darine 21-year-old, and my brother Ahmed, a 19-year-old. My family Nadine, Judy, Maryam, and our beloved parents always carry great hope in our hearts and deep gratitude for your continuous support and kind wishes for a better life. You are part of our story and our hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Israel has taken more members of my extended family. Are we next? Does it even matter anymore? Sometimes it feels like nothing does. Yet, in this endless storm of loss, we still need answers.
My home, car, and belongings have been destroyed repeatedly, leaving us with nothing but a tent for shelter. We've endured hunger, severe water shortages, and over 14 months without education or schools no hope for a future. Now, we struggle daily for the most basic necessities, living without money and barely holding on.
Yet, despite these unimaginable hardships, I managed to complete the first semester of my third year in medical school, thanks to your unwavering support. I'm a bit behind, but progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Every step forward counts.
I continue to fight for my family, helping them survive while holding myself together. The pain is overwhelming, but I refuse to give up. Your support could be the lifeline we desperately need in this relentless wave of suffering.
