Underwater Hockey World Championships
Donation protected
Isla Crocker has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2024 Underwater Hockey World Championships in Malaysia.
As a little known sport with a small governing body, The British Octopush Association, all of the girls will need to self fund their participation in the world championship.
Isla has been playing underwater hockey since she was 8 years old, representing Plymouth, the South West and Great Britain in Europe already.
Now at the age of 16 she has an amazing opportunity to represent her country on the world stage in the Under 19 category.
For the last 3 years Isla and a small group of other girls from Plymouth has travelled monthly to Leeds to take part in weekend training camps. Pushing their fitness with bleep tests and cardio training, whilst improving pool skills.
Now primed and ready to take on the world, we need a little bit of help to get her there.
Each of the girls picked for the squad will have to raise £3000 for food, board and travel - help this inspiring young team raise the profile of Under Water Hockey and help them achieve their goals of representing GB.
