Ontario Jr. Blues Tour

Hi, my name's Kyleigh Chandran and I'm raising money to help pay for a rugby tour to

Calgary with the Ontario Jr Blues this summer! I have been playing rugby for 2 years with my high school, Appleby College, and my club team, the Burlington Centaurs. My rugby journey started at Appleby playing my first season of 7's in 2022, to then leading the team to secure a CISAA Championship title for the first time in school history this past 2023 season. Although it has only been a few short years of playing, this game has shown me tremendous opportunities and a greater sense of community. The support from my club in Burlington has been unreal and I cannot thank enough the coaches and teammates who have been there every step of the way. I am also excited for the future of my rugby career, as I have committed to playing rugby for the next 4 years at Queen's University, where I will be studying to get my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

This summer I had the opportunity to try out for the provincial team, after competing with other athletes from across Ontario in tryouts and games I was

able to secure one of the 26 spots on the traveling roster! This fundraiser will help pay for my travel costs and accommodations in Calgary where my team

will be competing against other provinces for a gold medal. Any donations would be

very helpful and greatly appreciated!
