Help for Peter and his family.

This is Peter and this message below is from his wife Shanna. We are trying to raise money to help him with his medical costs. Please find it in your heart to give. She is a fellow Smule family member and her entire family is in need of our help.

First of all we want to say that this is hard for us because we do not like to ask for help. But unfortunately we need to put our feelings on this aside and ask.

On Nov.10th Peter had a seizure at work that made him totally pass out and lose oxygen. During his seizure he had a brain bleed. Peter also had a few sinus symptoms that didn't seem like anything but turned for the worst to be covid which we found out turned into pneumonia during his hospital stay. Peter's blood pressure was extremely high and his potassium level dangerously low. Due to hospitals having no bed space and his brain bleed the first hospital had him transported via helicopter to another hospital an hour and a half away. Peter was also not able to breath on his own for 24 hours and ended up in the ICU. Several tests showed also that his heart was elevated and is only working at 40%. We weren't sure if a hidden tumor was under the blood bleed so an MRI was performed. They didn't find a tumor which was a relief. But a CT scan around his kidneys showed he has a small 1cm tumor on his right adrenal gland. This is tumor has been lying dormant for awhile and decided it's time to show it self. Hyperaldosteronism is the diagnosis. Which causes unwanted hormones to secrete in his body. This causes his blood pressure to rise and potassium levels to dive low. Surgery will be needed to remove this tumor on his kidney but first he needs to heal. He came home from the hospital on Nov.18th. Peter is the primary main source of income for our family. Unfortunately, we didn't sign up for short term disability and no income will be coming in while he's on the mend.

With Peter not working things are gonna be hard for us to survive financially. Our regular bills, groceries and now medical bills will be overwhelming on us. He's on 7 medications right now to keep his blood pressure down and to keep him from having another seizure. Potassium levels need to be checked continuously also with his Dr. He will need to see an endocrinologist to see when he can have to tumor removed. But for now he needs to be on several BP medication to keep it from rising dangerously. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance.
