Marie Gross

Sorry but bad news coming about one of our own….

Every time I travel I try to visit my auctioneer friends in that area. Recently I was traveling through Ohio and chose to visit Marie Gross. She's been an auctioneer and instructor and a close friend for a long time. Her and her deceased Husband Kenny owned K and M auction school. It had been a while since I saw her. I was beside myself for not knowing she wasn't doing well healthwise.

Marie is a very private person. I insisted on helping her as not only is she part of our auction family… but she and Kenny had stepped up for me and my family many, many times in the past. With a little pressure on her from me she's agreed to let me help her publicly. I could list all the things she's going through but I'll only list a small portion… she lost Kenny a while back… if that wasn't bad enough she has been diagnosed with several terminal conditions all at once.

I've been hit with bad luck in the past… but I can't imagine being hit with so many all at once. I've cried many tears since she told me she's preparing for the end of her life. With everything that's knocked her down lately it's affected her financially and she's definitely not ready for this by any means. Sarah and I discussed this and are going to step up… but.. there's only so much we can do.

Hence the reason for this thread. With a bit of arm twisting… Marie has finally agreed to let me let you know that one of our own is in need. Sarah and I have started a Go Fund Me page to help one of our auction family meet the end of their life with a little less stress than she would otherwise. But Marie is a fighter… let's help one of our own regain a little bit of dignity and maybe she'll regain some energy to fight this. Donate if you can. Whether you know her personally or not… she's one of our auction family members.
