Sarah's Cancer Fund
Donation protected
As most of you know my little sister Sarah was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma on December 9th 2016. Being only 26 years old and finding out that you have a 16cm mass in your chest cavity right in front of your heart, a couple more masses in your lung, and having your right lung full of fluid was the most devastating news for Sarah and our family. Sarah had many tests done between catscans, x- rays, bone marrow, biopsies, spinal taps, MRI, ultrasounds and lots of blood work.
Sarah got released after being in the hospital for a little over a month doing chemo treatments and taking steriods to shrink her mass. Two days after being released I took Sarah's temp and sure enough she had a fever. I took Sarah back to the hospital and she got re admitted because she now has pneumonia and also had to get a blood transfusion again due to her red blood cells being really low. She also has a blood clot in her arm which has caused her arm, legs and feet to swell.
Once Sarah is well enough to be released she will be able to go home and return back to the hospital a few times a week for her Chemo Therapy Treatments. She will continue to do this for 1 to 2 years.
We are asking for donations to help with transportation to get Sarah to and from her appointments that will be at UCI in Orange County, any medical bills/medication that might not be covered through insurance and financial support to help her get through these next couple years.
We appreciate any donations we can get so that Sarah can focus on getting healthy and strong! With your help this will be something she can look back on and say shes CANCER FREE!!
Thank you all for the constant love and prayers through this journey. Sarah appreciates it and it motivates her to stay strong and keep fighting!
