GCFC BALI OUTREACH PROGRAM 2023

In 2023, therapists from the Gabrielle Centre for Children will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia to provide therapy for the children who attend the Yayasan Widya Guna school in Ubud.

Yayasan Widya Guna is a special needs school with around 40 students enrolled. The students at the school have a range of disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and ADHD.

The school supports the students with their education when they cannot afford to pay the school costs. They provide them with food and shelter when they don’t have a family or home. They assist all children that need support, as they believe that all children deserve a good education.

Therapy in Bali, and in particular Ubud, is very limited. Yayasan Widya Guna is committed to supporting its students the best they can, and we hope to support them some more with essential therapy for the students and training for the staff.

The GCFC team is self-funding this trip, but to ensure its success, we need your help so that we can purchase and take with us therapy equipment that we can use when there and leave there for our therapy to be continued when we go.
