Please help Blue

Blue might look like an ordinary big goofy dog but he is also our best friend and fur baby. I got him shortly after I was in a car accident and suffered a traumatic head injury. He has been there through the good the bad and the ugly. Always by my side with his big goofy grin ready to take on the world with me. Through memory loss, blackouts and slurred speech he has always been there to help me and cheer me up. Yesterday out of nowhere he woke up favoring his right paw. He tried to get out of our bed and flipped and fell out when he had tried to put pressure on his foot. I grabbed him and rushed him to the hospital as fast as we could. After 8 hrs at the hospital the doctor informed us it could be one of two things but without further testing they wouldn't know for sure. He needs a joint tap done so a culture can be sent to the lab. In order to do this he needs to be hospitalized for the day and sedated. If it comes back positive for a bacterial septic infection he will need a 2 month course of strong antibiotic treatment, pain management and since he is so young heavily sedated and/or crated that whole time. The testing alone is about $2000 I wish I could just tell them money isn't an issue and to do everything possible to help my best friend. Unfortunately we just moved and don't have that kind of money. After numerous X-rays the doctor gave us pain medication and antibiotics and let us take him home. We had to charge the $500 visit hoping that we can try to slowly make payments. He woke up today unable to move trembling and crying out in pain. Watching your best friend who has always been by your side in excruciating pain and being unable to do anything is the most heartbreaking pain. Our loyal big goofy dog who only wants to be loved and make others laugh is crippled by the pain. We had to rush him back to the hospital where he is currently residing. I know they are trying to do everything possible to make him comfortable until I can find a way to help him from this misery. To keep him there with the bare minimum for pain management is $1500 so I beg you please even if it's just $1 or if you can't donate please share this with your friends and ask them to share this with their friends. Blue has been by my side every day since my accident he is my heart and all I want to do is help him so please I beg you please help me help him.
