Update: Dad recently got spinal surgery, it was a great success and it was a very hard time for him but he is learning to walk again and gain all of his strength back. He will now be in recovery to be able to walk again, With that being said i appreciate everything everyone has donated and all the support he is receiving! “God gives his battles to his strongest soldiers” 

Family and friends, as many of you may be already aware my dad has been in the hospital for multiple days due to this unexpected situation. Last Sunday he collapsed and has been paralyzed from the waist down unable to walk. He will soon need to be moved to a physical therapy rehab to continue his healing journey. Unfortunately due to this sudden injury we are asking for any amout donation to help cover loss of wages, and medical expenses.

My dad is an amazing man always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need , and now he's in need of our help.

My dad (John) is a walking hero. In 2010 he found out he has a blood mutation, blood clots. He figured that out when he was fighting for his life but also fighting for his 2 daughters for full custody when we were only 8 and 4. He did everything in his power to make sure his children are taken care of and happy.

In 2015 i went to the hospital and found out i was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, if it wasn’t for my dad i wouldn’t be living as im typing this. He went through training classes to help support me and learn everything a parent needs to know with a child living with diabetes. He’s never ever failed to bring joy to the ones around him, in whatever situation he’s in. My dad is the one who’s always held his kids hands with a smile and telling us we’ve got this.

He now has to get surgery in his back for him to be able to walk again and gain muscle back. With that being said, he will be in recovery for another 6 weeks until he will be well enough to get back to working and being involved with his kids again.

I’m writing this today to do everything i can do to help him through this rough time in life and help support him through the good and the bad as that is all he’s ever done for me and his children. Nobody wants to be in a hospital for weeks without being able to move and work. Any Donations would be greatly appreciated to help my dad and family to stay a float till our superman rises back up, please feel free to leave words of encouragement along with prayers thank you from our family.
