Help Jess and her family

Hi my name is Ashley and I am fundraising for Jess and her family… Tamia is on day 16 of being on a ventilator. Her original diagnoses were coronavirus ( the original, not COVID) H. Flu which caused her to be in septic shock and a pseudonymous bacteria, which caused severe pneumonia. Over two courses of antibiotics and steroids Tamia no longer has the H. Flu, pseudonymous, or coronavirus. The pneumonia is still present. Tamia has been fighting so hard! She is the strongest little girl. Once all those issues were resolved Tamia was then diagnosed with severe ARDS. Since that diagnosis Tamia has gotten better to where she now has mild ARDS. She also has a hole in her left lung, so they had to place a chest tube in. Everything seems to have been going well, until last night when there were issues with her heart rate and blood pressure. Tamias labs showed a large increase in WBC and CO2 levels have been consistently high. She will be started back on antibiotics for fear of another infection. They have done a bronchoscopy, where they were able to pull a ton of mucus out. Now to just wait for blood and sputum cultures to see if there is something else going on. Tamia and her mom are currently at CHOP so we know she is in the best care!! The money that is raised through here will go to Jess and her family. Jess also has 2 other children at home plus her niece, anything donated is appreciated and will go towards food for the kids at home and food for her while she’s at CHOP with Tamia, plus all her bills and gas.
