My Sick Dad: A Daughter's Plea

My name is Samantha and I am raising money for my dad's healthcare needs. My dad was a policeman for 38 years. He retired in 2016 and has been suffering with dementia for the last 5 years. My dad was recently sick with Covid-19 and it has taken what was left of him. My family can no longer provide the proper care he needs at home. The police department does not provide health benefits after retirement. Since my dad had only been employed as a police officer, he did not qualify for Medicare. I am asking for any donations to help my mom pay for his nursing home. If any of you knew who my dad once was, you would understand that he deserves the best care.
