Justice and Honor for Geary Samuels
Donation protected
Geary Samuels was brutally shot and killed in the late night hours of June 3rd/early morning hours of June 4, 2019. He was shot in his back at the entrance of his driveway and left to suffer as if he was a wild animal on the side of the road. Although neighbors heard the gunshot, no one bothered to call the police. As a result, he was not found until 8:00 in the Morning on June 4th by an unknown person who contacted the police.
The brutal death of Geary has not only saddened the Stone Mountain, Georgia community; but it has shocked the community has a whole. Geary was a young man that feared the gun. He would always advise his nephews that they should avoid people that appear to be gang related, appear to be trouble makers, or travel too much in groups.
Geary suffered from severe obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). He washed his hands and face at least a 100 times per day. He was very ritual in his behavior and traveled the same path every day. Although he was wise beyond his years in both philosophy, Biology and the Bible, his OCD behavior got the better of him and prevented him from living what Society considered a “productive life.”
He was not able to keep employment because he would focus on a single task for too long. In addition, his compulsive personality prevented him from staying at the same location for a lengthy period of time. He did not get Social Security Benefits because he did not acknowledge that he had an illness. His mental challenges prevented him from obtaining meaningful employment.
Although he was OCD, he was known in the community as a gentle man. He was always helpful at the different business franchise in the area. At his local Kroger Supermarket, he was there every day helping to load the groceries of women in their car. He would fix all the supermarket carts in the parking lot. He would then travel to this Golden Krust Restaurant and open the door for patrons. He would then go in the bathroom and constantly wash it down. He would then travel to the wing spot across the street and advised the owner that he is their bodyguard because he did not want anyone to harm them.
Because of his daily ritual, no customers feared him. Likewise, he had his independence and felt as if he was living a productive life. They would give him a couple of dollars because they knew he was not a danger to them. He did not have any tattoos on his body. He did not have piercings. All he had at all times was his smile and his desire to help others.
His daily lifestyle was that of an innocent child, yet he was shot in the back and left to die with no one by his side.
The family of Geary Samuels is asking for a small donation to aid in burial cost and getting information that will assist in locating the criminal took away Geary Samuels innocent life.
