Rande and Robert Gedaliah

Rande and Robert Gedaliah have been members of the National Speakers Association and Toastmasters since 1990. Active members of the speaking community and generous givers of time and talent, the Gedaliah’s are tremendously caring people who have had such an impact on our community, an award was named in their honor (Watch video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Kh3_J44OQ)

Now it is our time to help them.

Not only have they dealt with ongoing and serious health challenges over recent years, these past few days Robert’s health has taken a very sad turn and on the evening of December 11th, 2019 he, unfortunately, has passed away. As Rande’s primary caregiver, this now leaves Rande without the care she urgently needs.

For years Rande has suffered from serious health issues including Parkinson’s disease which is now advanced. She is in a wheelchair with extremely limited mobility. Robert, her husband of 41 years has been her life, her rock, her 24-hour caregiver. In his words, they were intra-cellular. He has taken care of Rande throughout these difficult years, as he battled his own health challenges with prostate cancer.

While friends rally to assist at this time of true crisis, and care options are being assessed, in the long term there will be mounting expenses. Some of our colleagues have literally dropped everything to be there around the clock.

Imminently it is expected Robert's medical and funeral expenses will need to be covered, as well as Rande's care and medical support. 100% of all donations go to Rande Davis Gedaliah herself in order to cover

- costs related to Robert's latest hospitalizations and the additional care that was required for Rande during this time
- expenses related to Robert's ceremony of life on Thursday, December 19th, 2019
- expenses related to Rande's current care (tremendously increased due to Robert's passing) and long-time care
- costs related to Rande's medications and medical support

This campaign has been set up in close communication and with the permission of Rande Davis Gedaliah by her close friends, spearheaded by Sylvie d. and Ron K. Money will be withdrawn in her name by her godson and trusted advisor William J. 100% of all donations go to Rande Davis Gedaliah.
