My friend, Joshua Gedraitis, age 33, died in a fatal automobile accident in Jacksonville Beach on Saturday afternoon, April 11th 2015. While traveling on I-95 near J. Turner Butler Boulevard below posted speed, he lost control of his SUV and flipped his SUV several times. He was pronounced at 4:15pm and no other casualties were incurred.
As a lifelong friend, I can truly say that Josh was one of the most caring and spirited people I know. He would do anything to help someone out, and no matter the circumstance, could always find the humor and make you laugh. It was an honor calling him my best friend, my brother.
He cherished his wife, Rebecca, and seeing them together was to see love and marriage in truest form. It was only weeks ago, when he told me that they had discovered they were having a baby. He was full of pure joy and excitement.
At this difficult time, we must remain faithful and trust in God’s plan. Please pray for Rebecca and his family, and donate what you can to help them through their sudden loss. Your gift will go towards Josh's memorial service and support towards Rebecca and their unborn child.
