Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS)

Hi, my name is Courtney, along with two of my classmates we are wanting to donate to GAWS. You might be wondering why we want to donate is we have a school project we have to run throughout the year and the idea of the project this year is to help the community, and as we are passionate about helping others and believe that contributing our time and talents to GAWS cause this will not only benefit the community but also help us develop our learner agency. Please be aware that this is not a school organized event.

The Geelong Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit organization based in Geelong Australia, dedicated to providing care, shelter and rehabilitation to abandoned, surrendered or neglected animals. GAWS works to promote the welfare of animals through, rescue and adoption, Animal welfare education, and supporting the local community.

GAWS relies on donations, volunteers, and fundraising efforts to carry its mission, that is why we want to give donations to this organization as we did ask to volunteer and help out but they did decline as we are under the age restriction and so we still wanted to help and thought of this!
