GELE GIRLS COLORING BOOK

THANK YOU all so much for the incredible show of support on this project. We have gotten such a great response from everyone, and I am thrilled to see the excitement surrounding the 'Gele Girls'.
I am so happy to announce that your help and support has allowed us to publish and print 300 copies of the Gele Girls coloring book!!! Many of these books will be gifts to generous donors like yourselves.

It has been humbling and amazing to see how many people have been genuinely inspired by this project. People from all walks of life supported and contributed to this project and we are so glad they did! As a creative as well as a performing artist, it is always extra rewarding to find out that there are people out there that connect with your vision.

Seeing these results has motivated me to get these books into as many hands and homes as possible. I have been advised that "no matter how good your art is, nobody will appreciate it if they don't know it exists." That is why MARKETING is extremely important. My goal is to purchase targeted facebook, snapchat, instagram and youtube ads, so that people who would really benefit from this work can have access to the book for themselves, their kids, friends and family.

Here are a few of some advertising costs your donation will help sponsor, as I am expecting to run into during these issues below next phase marketing push include:

*Creating a Gele Girls brand website
I believe the Gele Girls can become more than just a niche coloring book, but a Brand of many products and services. Your support can contribute to bringing a positive light to diverse images of women.

* Targeted Facebook, Snapchat, Youtube and Instagram advertisements

* Fliers, posters and banners for direct marketing - Live in-person events can be some of the best ways to distribute a book like this one. Having fliers, posters and banners available can make it much easier to educate people about this initiative and more effectively raise awareness

* A $125 ISBN (a requirement to get book distributed with major retailers) - I hope to get my book in major retail stores like Barnes & Nobles, Walmart, etc. Major book distributors require books to follow certain standards in order to distribute your product
Helping hands - In order to launch this initiative, I am getting support from hardworking people who are making this possible. I would really like to be able to give them something for their efforts

*  An $800 Wacom Syntiq - Up until now, I have been doing my drawings in a very rudimentary way. Most successful and advanced illustrators use a digital drawing tablet for graphics design. These tablets make the design process much quicker and enjoyable for the artist. I know that with one, I can take the Gele Girls project to the next level with even more elaborate designs and getting books out more quickly for the fans.

In faith and as a result of these new considerations, we have increased our goal to meet the need. So, please let your friends know that we are still raising funds.
