Tillie Gelfand Headstone Repair
Donation protected
Dear Family,
Shari and Rob Cooper were in New York recently and visited the graves of our grandparents, David and Tillie Gelfand. David’s gravesite was perfectly intact, but Tillie’s monument has toppled over, though does not appear to be broken. The cemetery is not responsible for resetting the monument, so Sprung Monuments was contacted to do what is needed to put the stone upright. The bill from Sprung Monuments is attached here, as well as a photograph of the toppled monument. As you can see, the price of this project is costly, so we have started a Go Fund Me page to raise money to share some of the financial burden, while keeping individual contributions as low as possible. We are calling on our cousins to join hands in financial support of this project and to express our love and respect to Tillie Gelfand, the matriarch of our incredible family.
