Gemeinsam für Bildung: Schulbauprojekt in Kokrobite, Ghana!

Arise e.V. setzt sich seit einigen Jahren aktiv für kostenlose Bildung ein, indem wir 72 Schüler:innen aus sozial benachteiligten Haushalten in Tuba und Kokrobite von der Vorschule bis zur 6. Klasse unterrichten.

Im Oktober 2022 starteten wir ein Schulbauprojekt, um langfristig mehr Kindern den Schulbesuch zu ermöglichen. Mit neun Klassenzimmern, einer Bibliothek, einem IT-Labor, einer Mensa, einem Kunstraum, einem Spielplatz und weiteren Einrichtungen wollen wir einen Beitrag zu einer vielfältigen Bildungslandschaft leisten.

Die bisherigen Erfolge sind spürbar: Wir haben ein Grundstück erworben, den Bauplan abgeschlossen und die ersten Bauschritte erfolgreich durchlaufen.

Dank der Unterstützung von "Bingo! Die Umweltlotterie" haben wir 60.000€ Fördermittel erhalten.

Die Gesamtkosten des Schulbaus belaufen sich auf ca. 400.000€. Ein Teil davon wurde durch Einzelspenden und Vereinsbeiträge aufgebracht, aber wir sind noch nicht am Ziel.

Together for Education: School Construction Project in Kokrobite, Ghana!

Arise e.V. has been actively advocating for free education for some years, providing education to 72 students from socially disadvantaged households in Tuba and Kokrobite, ranging from preschool to the 6th grade.

In October 2022, we initiated a school construction project to extend the opportunity of schooling to more children in the long run. With nine classrooms, a library, an IT lab, a cafeteria, an art room, a playground, and additional facilities, our aim is to contribute to a diverse educational landscape.

The achievements so far are evident: we've acquired a piece of land, finalized the construction plan, and successfully completed the initial construction phases. Thanks to the support from "Bingo! Die Umweltlotterie," we've received €60,000 in grant funding.

The total cost of the school construction amounts to approximately €400,000. While a portion has been covered through individual donations and association contributions, we haven't reached our goal yet.
