Unexpected Surgery

Zachary has had is fair share of medical crises . Zachary is an identical twin and unfortunately he was born with Craniosynostosis. Unfortunately, the surgery that they perform on him at 1 years old was not correct. Zachary head grew to a point and his brain was being squeezed by the age of 2 1/2. We moved home so Zachary had to have his entire skull reconstructed at Duke with Dr Fuchs( who is amazing). They cracked his skull and put it together like a puzzle. Zachary has 20 plates and 40 screws in his head. Zachary then developed hydrocephalus because of the trauma. He has already had seven of them with other medical scares. One being the screws coming through his skin.
 What is so different this time is there is no place to put a new one because there are two that are in his brain that they can not remove. This will be a challenge for the doctors and Zachary.
Zachary is the only financial support for him and his wife Sarah. The time that he will need off for healing will effect them greatly.
Zachary has been employed at Milton's Pizza in Wake Forest for 6 years and is struggling with having to take off because he loves his job so much. He is so blessed by each one of them there and thinks as them as family! He said, that he will work there until he retires!
On April 24th Zachary will go to UNC to have the surgery unless it happens before then and we pray for no complications!!
