Gemma’s hero arm prosthetic
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Gemma Tomlinson I’m 17 and from Manchester, growing up i never felt I fit in with others my age as I was born with a lower arm deficiency in my right arm, therefore throughout my childhood I had to adjust the way I did daily activities, as I grow into being a young adult I can’t help but see how helpful a prosthetic arm would be for everyday use whether it’s to help me with simple things such as tying my shoelaces or helping me to drive when I start learning.
I have been lucky enough to be offered a prosthetic called the hero arm which is made by a company called open bionics and they are based in Bristol, I know that this prosthetic arm would help me in every aspect of my life including getting a job after I finish college as I am hoping to join the uniformed public services
Any donations made will be gratefully appreciated by me
