Genevieve and Dean Maguire tragically lost their Malua Bay property and everything inside it yesterday in the fires at Batemans Bay on the South Coast, NSW.
To use the words of their son in law:
'It was a home not a house, that has been built over 25 years with not just bricks and mortar but love and kindness. Such was the speed and lack of notice that they literally got out with the clothes on their back - photos, tools, heirlooms, clothes, shoes, livestock all gone.'
Losing everything has left the family absolutely devastated and unable to comprehend the entirety of not just what they have lost, but what many many other families have lost during the fires that are still spreading rapidly.
The smallest of donation would be greatly appreciated.
As we cannot reach the family at the coast if you are able to donate to this go fund me it would help them get the essentials they need at the moment. Every little bit counts.
