Gena's Family Needs Your Help Now

Hi. My name is Gena. I am a single mom of four and work three jobs to keep our house a home. I’m a doula and doula trainer. I’ve given away thousands of dollars worth of classes to doulas who otherwise could not afford it. I’ve hosted my radio show for 16 years. I’ve strived to help parents learn what they need to know to do their best.

But this year has been hard and I am in danger of being evicted from our home (apartment). I do not want to ask for help but I can’t afford shame. My kids need to feel safe and together. Getting another apartment after an eviction is almost impossible and I just want my children to have our place and not be displaced during the holidays.

This upcoming year will be better because I will be traveling and training doulas all over the country and Canada. But right now I just need help catching up. Thank you if you’ve read this far. I’ve been making it for the last eight years on my own and really do not want to ask for help. I am proud and this is embarrassing but I love my children more than my ego.
