My name is Katherine & I’ve been transitioning for almost a decade now, I was born & raised in rural Iowa & becoming myself has been met with its fair share of challenges, & setbacks including getting denied education, being fired from jobs, being assaulted, & kicked out of housing simply because of my gender identity. But despite continued adversity, I’ve pushed forward, and have fought for myself & others to exist freely.

 Hormone replacement therapy is incredible, but hormones unfortunately don’t do it all, I’ve reached the end of what they’re able to provide. To complete my transition I’m hoping (praying) to raise funds to undergo gender confirmation surgery. The ever changing political climate is making my very existence illegal, healthcare providers are being arrested & overall these are just some very scary times. If you choose to donate, just know that you’re actively working towards quite literally saving someone’s life. All I want is to exist safely as myself, and with your help, maybe I can.
