The Oscars 1st Genderfluid Heels

Donation protected

This is my first time asking for funds for myself. But my mentors keep reminding me this is going to be a moment that could change the world. So here we go...

I'm honored to be walking the red carpet for the Oscars representing The Trevor Project on Sunday. While my fairy godmothers have found/made me an astounding set of outfits that truly represent my gender fluidity, we still haven't found the stilettos that will finish the look.

WHY IN THE WORLD DO YOU NEED THESE HEELS? I know, this seems ridiculous, but I desperately want to walk that red carpet feeling complete. My high heels are part of my story. It hearkens to standing above the horrific experiences of conversion therapy. It hearkens to rising in power and strength.

I am working to get a designer to donate/lend a pair of heels for the night but thus far they haven't been ready for a boy in stilettos. As far as I can see, this will be the first time a "boy" wears stilettos to the Oscars. Help me make history.

Each day I do all I can to save the lives of LGBTQ youth and on Sunday I absolutely dream of being that someone that a child sees on their television screen and knows that their gender is not only valid but celebrated. As one mentor said "these heels will save lives in their own magical way".

If the cost is less than the donations received the remainder will be donated to The Trevor Project.
