Genelle Green

In February our dear classmate Genelle Green underwent a life threatening surgery after being incorrectly diagnosed with a viral infection a few days earlier. Genelle had Group A Streptococcus (Strep) that attached to her IUD, causing her body to go into septic shock. Genelle spent seven weeks in the hospital as every organ in her body — including her heart— began to fail. She  had to have two separate surgeries including a hysterectomy and can now no longer carry a child. It is a miracle that Genelle survived, and, with your support, Genelle can focus on recovery, rather than worrying about how she is going to pay her medical bills or make up for the seven weeks she spent in the hospital. Genelle had an amazing support system in her family, friends, and her fiancé, but now we are calling on each of you to join Genelle’s support system and donate to this page.
