Genesis Drum and Bugle Corp Tuition and Fees

Hello everybody, my name is Damian Hernandez. I am a 20 year-old percussionist majoring in Music Education at the University of Oklahoma. I have recently auditioned for and was fortunate to have been offered a contract to march with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corp for this 2023 DCI season. There are different fees included in signing a drum corp contract that I would be responsible for paying: transportation, housing, food, uniform/apparel, equipment maintenance, and other various fees. The total tuition and fees come up to be about $5000. I am currently a full-time college student and working a part-time job at the same time, making it extremely difficult to come up with these funds. This is also my last eligible year to march world-class drum corp, with 21 being the age limit. Any funds donated would be put directly towards paying my fees and tuition, so that I can march this summer. With your help, I would be able to experience a life-long dream of mine and use the skills I obtain over the DCI summer to better my performance in school and improve the way I teach my high school students!
