Genesis Performing Arts Dance World Cup 2024

Hi, we are Genesis Performing Arts, a Worthing-based dance company (as seen on BBC1 – 10th Jan 2023) whose dancers range from age 7-20 and who after successfully auditioning, have been selected from thousands of entries to represent England at Dance World Cup in Prague later this year in 55 dances covering a range of genres including ballet, tap, jazz, showdance, national and street dance.

The Dance World Cup is an incredible event which takes place each year with over 60 countries attending and 8,000 dancers competing – it’s considered ‘THE Olympics of Dance’. So, for our team to be selected and represent Team England is a huge honour and one we aren’t taking lightly.

We are incredibly excited to have made it this far, and hope by raising the necessary funds, we can build on our previous Gold Winning Successes.

This is where we desperately need your help. These things always come with costs, just like those competing in our sports Olympics we have to fund this ourselves. Realistically the children will be required to raise a minimum of £3-4k in order to cover the cost of flights, accommodation, Team England uniform required, costumes and rehearsals, plus other essentials that are mandatory to compete.

Without your help we simply wouldn’t be able to do it. Every penny raised will go directly towards making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity become a reality for these dancers.
