Genie Rez

Donation protected
In a matter of moments, life changed for all of us Thursday night.

Ryan was driving with his dog, Genie Rez, early Thursday evening, 7/18/19, when he lost control of his SUV, and rolled multiple times. It was a horrific accident that appears to have been caused by a blown tire.

Although, Genie was badly injured, she managed to drag herself out of the SUV and across the lawn of Fire Station that was on the corner and yelped for help.

Ryan was transported and admitted to the hospital in critical condition with a broken femur and many broken ribs. Genie Rez was transported to a 24 hour veterinarian office with two broken legs and possible internal bleeding.

You can see a photo of Genie Rez being transported in an article from Ryan’s local paper using this link. (Also found below).

You can also see how badly Ryan’s vehicle was damaged. Ryan is still in critical care, today, Friday, he has had to have a blood transfusion. Today, Ryan was able to communicate with his eyes, and breath on his own, but has been sleeping most of the time.

Genie Rez now has both of her broken legs in casts, and has to be driven to the next county over  to see a specialist on Saturday to do more testing for internal bleeding and to decide what type of surgery she will need for her broken legs. No one can be certain how she will respond to being put back into a vehicle, she has been very scared while being separated from Ryan. Always seeming to be looking for him.

We are praying for both Ryan and Genie Rez, our sweetest super dog. We humbly ask you to please consider helping us to cover Genie’s vet bills, as well as the extensive treatment with the specialist that she is needing to begin recovery. There is no donation too small. $5 will go a long way.

To make is easy for all, and to remain transparent, we have two fundraisers set up. One is a Facebook Fundraiser and the other is a Go Fund Me page. Please choose whichever one is easiest for you. The goal is the same on both, and once combined donations cover all of Genie Rez’ vet bills and emergency transport the night of the accident, we will close both fundraisers.

Please share Ryan and Genie Rez’s story, and consider making a small contribution towards Genie’s healing. We have a road ahead of us. Prayers and energy are welcomed for Ryan, Genie, and all of our family.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity,

Tarlena Owens, Tiffany Bremler and Jeannette Johnson.
