It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Cristian Marin, his children Victoria and Juan Camilo Marin, and his mother, Nubia Romero. On the night of Friday, March 21, 2025, this cherished family was involved in a devastating boating accident on St. John’s River, which claimed their lives far too soon. Cristian was a devoted father, and his children, Victoria and Juan Camilo, were young souls full of promise and love. Nubia Romero, Cristian’s mother, had traveled from Colombia to visit her family and was tragically taken from them in this unexpected accident. This profound loss has left Paula Valderrama, Cristian’s wife and the mother of Victoria and Juan Camilo, facing unimaginable grief as she navigates the heartbreaking loss of her beloved family members. In this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to the community to provide financial support for Paula and the family as they cope with these devastating losses. The funds raised will go toward covering funeral expenses for Cristian, Victoria, Juan Camilo, and Nubia, allowing the family to honor their memories and focus on healing without the added burden of financial concerns.
