Geoff da Chefs battle with Crohn's disease.

What I thought was going to be just a bad case of gastro' last October turned into this monster disease Crohn's. Not only was I not insured properly even though I tried through a free immigrant service which is very good, I was scooped up by the great medical system here in Berlin. With going back to Australia for treatment would have probably meant my end or ended up in another hospital in another country. We let the German system help me and we would worry about raising the € later. I will also over the next few months will be using stoma care at home and the equipment used for this is quite expensive (300€ a month for a min of 3 months but up to 6 months). This is a necessary to help the rest of my colon recover.
Cost???
My first initial visit to the hospital was to get a Colonoscopy after seeing the free doctor with my symptoms. I had to stay just 4 days with a total cost of nearly 2500€. This bill came just last week.
4 days later I had sudden extreme pain in my stomach and had to call an ambulance and back to hospital I went.
That was 23rd November. Perforated Stomach, eventually diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, a rare auto immune disease in my entire digestive system. I have lost 1/3 of my colon and my gall bladder. 3 full surgeries, plus a week in intensive care.
Almost a month later I am at finally home in Berlin.
I'm asking for any financial support if you can.
Please also share this as much as you can on social media.
Also there will also be a Fuk the borders party here in Berlin on 29th February thanks to Suk Puk and Terror events at Kili. This will also be not only a great break core party but also a fund raiser (soli) for myself.
Thanks in advance for your help.
