Geordie's Skydiving Fundraiser

Donation protected
Spencers Field Community Group was born from the need to reinstate and invest in the Spencers Field play area, which has fallen into a state of disrepair and is currently not fit for purpose. We need to raise 65K to make this happen.
Emsworth Resident Geordie Richardson will be completing a sponsored Tandem Skydive from 14 thousand feet, a parachute jump from an altitude of 2 miles, resulting in 45 seconds of free fall and 5 minutes under parachute to help our cause. Geordie completed his first skydive 40 years ago at Netheravon. Now aged 76, he’s returning to take to the skies. Emsworth residents may know Geordie or have seen him out and about with his dog Tommy. They might not know that he served in the Royal Navy for 23 years, crewed submarines for 18 and is about as community spirited as they come. I'll leave the last words to him:
'To all servicemen, women, and residents, how about hitting the mess funds and the beer float, sticking your hands in your pockets, and helping to fund a children's play area in Spencers Field? It seems absurd to me that 40 meters away from a children's nursery, a previous playpark is standing there with the skeletal remains pointing to the sky with no fixed apparatus. For young parents on the estate and the surrounding area, a park to play in would be a boon, preventing them from traveling further afield.
